SOLAR BOILERS SYSTEMS
More and more often, we rely on the sun for the supply of durable
energy.
Looking ahead at the coming construction regulations for the BES
islands, it's advisory to already start installing a solar boiler,
considering the development of a "Green" Bonaire.
How it works
The storage tank, consisting of copper pipes with a special coating
absorbs the suns radiation and heats the water. The reservoir is
well isolated with closed cell foam, a foil and glass to
isolate the heat.
Because of the special way the pipes are welded, the water is always
delivered hot and the colder water stays at the bottom. The
boiler is connected directly to the cold water pipe and automatically
refills by the pressure of the watersupply in the colder lower pipes.
Advantages of the solar boiler:
The solar boiler will reduce your yearly energy consumption with 50
to 90%. The energy use of a boiler average is 20-40% of the total
consumption, only an airco uses more. This is based on a 2-4 persons
family, larger families will save even more.
